Sleek Makeup | Pout Polish in Pink Cadillac Review & Swatch

Sleek Makeup | Pout Polish in Pink Cadillac
RRP £4.49
What Sleek Say:
Pout Polish is a tinted lip conditioner that nourishes and feels like a lip balm, whilst providing the look and colour of a subtle gloss.
I really like the colour of this but i don't think that the quality is that good for the price. It does feel a bit sticky on your lips and smells a bit funny too. I think there are definitely better products out there and i dont think that i would repurchase this :(
This is quite a sheer colour but i don't feel like it keeps my lips that hydrated to be honest. I much prefer my body shop lip balm (review here) or the sleek pout paints :)

Clinique Makeup | High Impact Curling Mascara Review, Before & After Pics

Clinique High Impact Curling Mascara

this mascara, this is alwayyyys the one I go back to. Its a nice curvy shaped brush and it makes my eye lashes stick up! They are quite short so they usually sink even after I've curled them. (little sods!)
This mascara doesn't come off with make up remover very well, it's designed to come off with warm water - which it does brilliantly, but you do get left with little black bits all around your eyes but it does come off with a splash of water :)
I've used this for around a year now, I've tried a few other in between but they have all been rubbish compared to this! (reviews to come)...
It costs 15 quid which is not too bad in my opinion and it does do a good job so its justified :) , this is definately my HD mascara!

MAC Makeup | Moisture Cover Concealer Review, Swatches, Before & After

MAC Moisture Cover Concealer

NW15 on Left, NW20 on Right
I Love this - It’s lovely and creamy and doesn't make your under eye's look all cakey, dry and horrible which of course is a bonus :) It's not that thick but it covers well. I do set it with a little bit of powder once I'm done to keep it in place.

I mix NW 15 and NW 20 together to cover mine, swatches above.

I find that this concealer doesn't cover blemishes so well as it’s quite a runny consistency but the studio sculpt concealer is the best for blemishes in my opinion anyway.

Whats your favourite concealer? x

Body Shop | Strawberry Lip Balm Review & Swatch

Body Shop Strawberry Lip Balm Review

♥ this Lip balm..

I think the packaging is really cute although if you have longer nails you can end up giving it a little dig to get the product out.

Its nice and sheer with a pinky tone to it and it smells gorrrrrg too :) It only costs around £2 and i know they do other flavours too, may have to give them a little try ;) xx

Boots | Cucumber Eye Gel Review & Swatch

Boots Cucumber Eye Gel

This only cost £1.49 from boots and I really like it. It doesn't do much for my under eye circles but it’s really refreshing, especially when it’s boiling hot outside - which isn’t that often this summer ;) I also love it in the mornings when you've not long woken up, its also brill as an eyebrow gel!

It’s nice and thick so it doesn't run into your eye and it doesn't have a scent so it doesn’t irritate. I would definitely buy this again as it’s such a bargain!

Garnier | Simply Essentials Soothing Cleansing Lotion Review

Garnier Simply Essentials Soothing Cleansing Lotion Review

I ♥ this little Beauty.

I apply this to my dry face and wipe off with a cellulose sponge and finish off with a splash of water.

This doesn't dry my skin out and it's perfume, alcohol and colourant free - Whoo-hoo.

It’s quite a runny formula but spreads easily over my face and doesn't sting my eyes at all.
Doesn't seem to break me out either - Can’t ask for much more than that!

It leaves my face feeling soft afterwards but I don’t think it’s a very strong remover so you may have to go over your face a few times for heavier make up.

I've used higher brand cleansers but i found this much more suited to my skin and much better! I will be buying this again once it runs out.

Whats your favourite cleanser?

Skin MD Natural Sheilding Lotion Review & Pics

Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion

What they Say:
Shielding lotion duplicates and enhances your skin's natural and protective barrier. Just a small application of Skin MD Natural daily protects your skin from damage and delivers hours of soothing moisture, and for those of you who have excessive dry skin can help in relieving itching.

I'm a sucker for a cream! I came across this by mistake on Amazon. It was £15.35 including delivery for a 120ml bottle which is quite expensive but I read so many good reviews about it I thought it would be worth a try.

This looks like a serum rather than a cream. It has a slight scent which is nice but this must be natural as it doesn't contain fragrance.

I received this this morning and I've already applied this a few times today onto my arms. It's not greasy at all but it makes your skin feel really soft instantly and it doesn't feel dried out at all. I've tried it on my arms today and if all's OK I will give it a go on the old face and see how I get on.
I have high hopes for this stuff so fingers crossed!!

1 Month On:
OMG .. This stuff is amazzzzzzzing! Honestly, I am so glad I came across this is the best I have ever used. I've been using it on my face (and body!) day and night and for any dry bits during the day and I absolutely love it. It doesn't sting, it doesn't burn - it’s brilliant. It gets rids of my flakeys easily and I've even stopped using my steroid cream which is a massive step forward for me. I put it on when I'm feeling itchy and it relives the itchy-ness too and it hasn’t broken me out!!

Honestly if you have eczema or dry skin you have to try this, it’s the best product I own!! I've already ordered my second bottle so I don't run out :)

Garnier Body - Intensive 7 Days Body Lotion Review

Garnier Body - Intensive 7 Days
Ultra-Softening Lotion

What is says on the bottle:
Immediately, rough skin is relieved and dramatically softened. Skin is optimally hydrated for 48 hours.

This is by far the best moisturiser I have ever used on my body - This one is for Dry to Extra /dry skin and it’s amazing.

I always moisturise before I go to bed and in the morning my skin always feels so much smoother with this. The downside is it can be quite heavy in the summer and can make you feel a bit clammy.

It’s quite a thick lotion so it does take a few minutes to sink in. Honestly, this is definitely worth the wait! It leaves a nice sheen to the skin afterwards too.

The smell of this lotion is gorgeouuuus! All I can describe it as is floral and fruity maybe?

Whats your favourite moisturiser?

Chanel Makeup | Vitalumiere Aqua Fresh and Hydrating Cream Compact Makeup Review

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Fresh and Hydrating Cream Compact Makeup

I purchased this in shade 20 Beige for £39 from Boots at Lakeside. I do have dry skin so I do like a hydrating foundation. I was a little bit disappointed with this if I’m honest, especially for the price I paid for it!

It comes in a gorgeous black compact (obviously) with a sponge and a mirror which does look gorgeous on your dressing table. There is also a double lid for freshness which is good idea.

When I first apply this after my moisturiser, is does make my face feel soft and does have a medium coverage. However after a couple hours I do find that it sticks to my dry patches and makes my skin feel dehydrated :(

It doesn’t spread easily onto your face either if I’m honest. I get eczema on my face so this is a hassle for me as I have to pull my face around :( .. I find that it’s easier to use a foundation brush so it moves a bit more freely.

Less is definitely more with this product too as it can look a little cakey if you apply too much it does take a lot of rubbing in too which also sets off my sensitive skin.

Overall, this foundation does feel soft and smooth at first (after rubbing it in like a maniac) however it doesn’t last very long and after a few hours it looks horrendous on me! I don’t think this is for us dry/sensitive skin girls personally... YSL Touch Éclat foundation beats this by miles (click here for review)

YSL Makeup | Touche Eclat Foundation Review & Swatch

YSL Touché Éclat Foundation Review and Swatch
In BD20

I had to try this as I love the Touch Éclat highligher and I thought this must behave in the same way.

Firstly I should mention that I have the most sensitive skin ever! I get super dry skin due to eczema and it’s very easily irritated :(.

I've got to say that I love love love this foundation, its A-mazing!! It's my favourite foundation I have ever used, I've used it every single day since I bought it and I haven't had a reaction or broken out.

I purchased this in BD20 which it a slightly more yellow-y colour so it cancels out my redness a bit and I absolutely love it. It doesn't have fragrance either which is a massive bonus for me!

It doesn't dry my skin out like most other foundations and in fact I think it may actually help to keep my skin hydrated. I applied this first thing this morning after moisturising and my skin still feels soft and not rough and dry as it usually would when I wear foundation.

The packaging is lovely too, very posh. As you can see from the picture the bottle is glass with gold writing on the side and a gold lid. It is quite a heavy bottle so this may be a downside if you’re carrying it around with you? Saying that, I have dropped this and it didn't smash so I think it deserves a few brownie points for that.

I can't recommend this foundation enough, it’s my favourite by far and I have tried a lot of different foundations!!

MAC Makeup | Studio Sculpt Foundation Review & Swatch

MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation Review
in NC20

I bought this for £24 in Mac at Westfield’s :)

If you have read any of my other reviews you will know I have the most dry, sensitive skin ever :(  so I'm on the hunt for my perfect foundation which hydrates my skin and doesn't cling to my dry patches or irritate me to high heaven :)

So anyway,  I thought I'd give this a go as it’s a nice gel foundation and it is described as 'hydrating' which is a defo a plus for me!

I have to say straight away that I Love Love Love this foundation.. It’s definitely up there with the YSL Touché Éclat foundation (click here for review)

It’s described as medium/build able coverage which I would definitely agree with as it covers my pink cheeks and blemishes with no problems and doesn't accentuate them at all! I purchased this in NC20 as it’s got the cool tone which counteracts my redness (result!). It spreads nice and easily too. It does smell a little bit like paint but it’s not unpleasant at all.

It has a nice dewy finish and makes my skin feel soft and moisturised which is really rare for me. This doesn't dry my skin out at all which really surprised me to be honest as I tried the MAC mineralize foundation but I didn't really like that. As this is quite a full coverage I do find that with frequent use it does give me a few blemishes so I often stick to this on a night out or on that special occasion.

This is definitely one of my favourite foundations as it makes my skin look flawless (which it isn't) so it is hard to leave it alone at times!

If anyone knows of good foundations for dry/sensitive skin pleasssse let me know :)
