Benefit They're Real Mascara - Believe The Hype People! ♥♥

If like me you didn't jump on the bandwagon (at first) then you should! This mascara is amazing, it beats my top two mascaras hands down! I was always a little tempted to buy this mascara due to all the rave reviews but as I'm so fussy about my mascaras I just thought the price was too expensive to risk not liking it.

I was making a few new purchases in boots and noticed this little tester option, being in an 'oh sod it' mood I picked one up and and I'm so pleased i did. I love it!

I don't have the longest eyelashes so I like something that keeps them nice and curled after curling them and this does just that. It doesn't go all clumpy, it dries nice and quickly, lasts all day and doesn't flake off - its just so lovely to use. My boyfriend even commented saying that my eye lashes look more 'spruced' lol.

The brush is a little fiddly as this is only half the size but its not too much of a hassle. The wand is plastic and applys the mascara nicely, the bobble at the end is handy for getting into the corners too - I always assumed this would be a pain in the ass but it's not!

Would I repurchase? YES! It is an expensive mascara compared to drug store brands but this is the best mascara I have tried (and I'm fussy so that's saying something!)

Have you tried this mascara? What did you think? ♥

This weeks most used #2

Hey Lovelys!

I've fallen in love with a few new products recently and they have quickly (and easily) became staple products. There are a few oldies in the mix too so thought I would summarise them up in a little post :)

♥ Hydraluron Moisture Booster Serum (review here) -
This is by far my favourite product at the moment, it really does do what it says on the box and ah its just amazing. I have so much love for this product I could go on and on but if you try one new product at all this week/month it should be this!

♥ Benefit They're Real Mascara (review here) -
I finally caved and brought it and a lot like the serum above it almost immediately became my favourite! I used to swear by the Clinique curling mascara but this is just so so much better. Definitely my favourite mascara to date!

♥ Avene Skin Recovery Moisturiser & Tolerance extreme moisturiser -
I swear by the tolerance extreme moisturiser if you have dry/irritated/sensitive skin but as my skin has been behaving itself lately I've switched to the skin recovery cream which is much lighter. I tend to still use the tolerance extreme moisturiser at night as its so soothing and nourishing. Really love these 2 products! Review coming soon :)

♥ Aveeno Moisturising Creamy Oil -
This stuff is my best friend at the moment. It moisturises but doesn't feel greasy in the slightest, it a runny consistency which makes it easy peasy to apply and again this has quickly become a favourite of mine!

♥ Clinique Superfine Liner -
I've tried a lot of different eyebrow pencils and this is the one I always come back to. Its the perfect shade for my mousey brown eyebrows and the fact that its so fine is perfect as it's precise (I don't have the thickest of brows). I use quite a light hand with this and this still gives a nice colour pay off.

♥ S Factor Smoothing Conditioner -
I got this part of a set and I absolutely love it. It makes your hair so soft and shiney and it smells delicious. Its definitely my go to conditioner at the moment and I will be writing a full review on this soon!

♥ Tresemme Heat Defence Spray -
This is the only heat defence spray that I have tried and actually liked! I often find that they make your hair sticky or slimey but I've never got that with this spray. I don't think you can really overdo it, it calms frizzies and actually makes your hair more manageable.

Whats your favourite product of the week? ♥

Benefit | Bad Gal Lash Mascara Review

I read so many great reviews on this but it was so expensive so i thought i'd try the mini version as i always find that i love my Clinique curling mascara too much to leave it! (It's
A-mazing!)

I do like the brush with this mascara it's quite chunky but not tooo chunky if you know what i mean :) although it's a bit tricky getting to the bottom lashes.

I don't have the longest eyelashes unfortunately and this mascara seemed to emphasize that, it was quite drying and crispy. The worst thing i found was that it goes a bit flakey during the day and you end up with them little black bits!
it didn't irritate my eyes at all unlike the Lancome Doll eyes did and it wasn't that difficult to remove which is always a bonus ay.

I wouldn't consider buying the full version as i wasn't blown away by this, its an ok mascara but nothing amazing.
I think this is like marmite, you either love it or hate it!?

Has you tried this? ♥

Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara Review

I really wanted to love this mascara, I had been eyeing it up for absolutely ages.

Firsty, i do love the brush - the small tip of the brush makes it nice and easy to get the little lashes in the corners and the bigger end makes it easy to wiggle up your lashes.

But..

I wouldn't recommend this if you have sensitive eyes like me. I had a really bad reaction to this - my eyelids went red and swollen. The thing i noticed with this mascara is it smells like perfume. I wouldn't of thought you would put fragrance in a mascara??

Unfortunately i wont be using this again let alone buying it again :(

Did anyone else have this problem? ♥

Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara Review & Pictures

Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara Review & Pictures

I really wanted to like this but i was really disappointed.

Its quite a fat brush which is quite tricky to work with but it slightly curved which i like.

I don't have the longest of lashes which maybe why it doesn't work for me, it made them look all all crispy and dry and it made my lashes look even shorter than they are - some even broke off when i try to wash it off :(
Back to my clinique curling mascara!  (review here)

Clinique Makeup | High Impact Curling Mascara Review, Before & After Pics

Clinique High Impact Curling Mascara

I ♥ this mascara, this is alwayyyys the one I go back to. Its a nice curvy shaped brush and it makes my eye lashes stick up! They are quite short so they usually sink even after I've curled them. (little sods!)
This mascara doesn't come off with make up remover very well, it's designed to come off with warm water - which it does brilliantly, but you do get left with little black bits all around your eyes but it does come off with a splash of water :)
I've used this for around a year now, I've tried a few other in between but they have all been rubbish compared to this! (reviews to come)...
It costs 15 quid which is not too bad in my opinion and it does do a good job so its justified :) , this is definately my HD mascara!
