Mini Dove Hair Haul ..

Hey Lovelys!

I popped into Tesco on Friday and I noticed that they had a little offer on all Dove products. I picked up these 3 products for around £6 - Bargain!

Dove Colour Radiance Leave-In Conditioning Spray

I haven't coloured my hair in around a year now but I loved the fact that this was a conditioning spray for use on dry (and wet) hair. I always find that the day after washing my hair is dryer and never looks as nice. I used this this morning after having curly hair last night and it's lovely to use. It really does add some well needed moisture and just makes it looks so much more healthier. It smells gorgeous too, I think I would just use it for the smell! Its meant to repair damage from within while adding a glossy shine.

Heat Defence Mist

I haven't tried this one yet as I'm still using my good ol' Tresemme spray but it says that it protects the hair up to 200 degrees. It creates a shield around the hair fibre and help protect against styling damage while at the same time leaving it smooth and shiny. Sounds good to me!

Intensive Repair Overnight creme

If I'm going to be washing my hair the next morning then i will usually smother my hair in some sort of oil before bed. I've never used an overnight cream so i was intrigued! This creme is meant to replenish 1 month’s protein loss in just 1 night. It absorbs into your hair throughout the night whilst you sleep, actively replenishing vital proteins and restoring resistance and strength. This sounds a little too good to be true but I will give it a go!

have you tried any Dove products? What did you think?

Tigi S Factor Smoothing Conditioner Review

I got this conditioner along with the smoothing shampoo and lusteriser (haul here) as part of a set. These were the first Tigi products that I had ever tried and it was also the most expensive hair products I had ever tried!
FYI - I have quite long thick hair which can get dry at the ends, I always blow dry my hair and use straighteners - naughty I know but my hair is too crazy and wild if I dont (lion king style).

'Smoothing Conditioner not only silkifies, shines and softens it strengthens your hair too, as has a scientific blend of ingredients including pro Vitamin B5, JoJoBa and Avocado Oil'

So this conditioner is now an official empty. I usually smother my hair in conditoner when I wash it and this has lasted really well considering that (a good 3 months). I use quite a big blob of this and it spreads nice and easily over my barnet and detangles on the way which is a bonus (I find that a lot of cheaper conditoners dont do this for me).
It really does make your hair so so shiney and soft and is definitely one of my favourite conditioners (along with my wella power hair mask and soap and glory glad hair day). I use this on my roots too but i do have thick hair, I'd say if you have very fine hair that it may be a little heavy but if you give it a good rinse then it should be fine.
I recommend this and i will be repurchasing this when payday finally rolls around! Although I am tempted by the Macadamia hair mask or the S Factor serious condition - any advice?

Whats your favourite conditioner?

Aveeno Take 2! ♥ Moisturising Creamy Oil Review

Hey girlies,

So I have another review today! Hope you enjoy ..

I picked this up by mistake when looking for my Aveeno skin relief body lotion (review on that here), I didn't realise until I actually got home so i thought I may as well give it a go!

Even though I have dry skin I'm not a big fan of oils as they seem to sit on top of my skin and make me feel all clammy and uncomfortable so I didn't have high hopes for this moisturising creamy oil!

'Moisturises like an oil, absorbs like a cream'

I'll admit I was wrong, I love this stuff! As its a creamy oil (as they call it) it spreads over your skin so easily! Its so quick to use and effortless - its perfect for when your in a morning rush. It dries almost immediately and doesn't leave that greasy feeling that you get with most thick creams. I love my Body Shop Aloe Vera Body Butter (review here) but as the weather has been getting a little better that has been pushed to the back of the drawer now. The consistency of this perfect for warmer weather and I think I will continue to use this even when the sun does decide to make an appearance.

This lotion contains colloidal oatmeal and sweet almond oil which are both amazing for moisturising dry and sensitive skin. It makes my skin feel so smooth and comfortable I'm now totally converted, I think I even prefer this to the skin relief lotion I was originally looking for! I usually go for unscented creams but this does have parfum listed right at the bottom. I like the scent of this, it reminds me of the smell of play dough which I know sounds weird but I actually like it! It's very subtle though and doesn't linger around for long.

I really recommend this stuff, I'm pleasantly surprised if I'm honest and I will be repurchasing this when it runs out! My new current favourite!

This weeks most used #2

Hey Lovelys!

I've fallen in love with a few new products recently and they have quickly (and easily) became staple products. There are a few oldies in the mix too so thought I would summarise them up in a little post :)

Hydraluron Moisture Booster Serum (review here) -
This is by far my favourite product at the moment, it really does do what it says on the box and ah its just amazing. I have so much love for this product I could go on and on but if you try one new product at all this week/month it should be this!

Benefit They're Real Mascara (review here) -
I finally caved and brought it and a lot like the serum above it almost immediately became my favourite! I used to swear by the Clinique curling mascara but this is just so so much better. Definitely my favourite mascara to date!

Avene Skin Recovery Moisturiser & Tolerance extreme moisturiser -
I swear by the tolerance extreme moisturiser if you have dry/irritated/sensitive skin but as my skin has been behaving itself lately I've switched to the skin recovery cream which is much lighter. I tend to still use the tolerance extreme moisturiser at night as its so soothing and nourishing. Really love these 2 products! Review coming soon :)

 Aveeno Moisturising Creamy Oil -
This stuff is my best friend at the moment. It moisturises but doesn't feel greasy in the slightest, it a runny consistency which makes it easy peasy to apply and again this has quickly become a favourite of mine!

 Clinique Superfine Liner -
I've tried a lot of different eyebrow pencils and this is the one I always come back to. Its the perfect shade for my mousey brown eyebrows and the fact that its so fine is perfect as it's precise (I don't have the thickest of brows). I use quite a light hand with this and this still gives a nice colour pay off.

 S Factor Smoothing Conditioner -
I got this part of a set and I absolutely love it. It makes your hair so soft and shiney and it smells delicious. Its definitely my go to conditioner at the moment and I will be writing a full review on this soon!

Tresemme Heat Defence Spray -
This is the only heat defence spray that I have tried and actually liked! I often find that they make your hair sticky or slimey but I've never got that with this spray. I don't think you can really overdo it, it calms frizzies and actually makes your hair more manageable.

Whats your favourite product of the week? ♥

Meet my new best friend! ♥ Hydraluron Moisture Booster Serum

Let me start off by saying - My god, this stuff is amazing!

I loved my Caudalie SOS thirst quenching serum (review here) but this is just is so so much better! I was thinking of repurchasing the Caudalie serum as mine was on its last legs but as I'd seen a few great reviews on this new-ish Hydraluron serum I thought I'd change it up, give this a go instead and share my thoughts with you guys!

When I find something I love I cant wait to review it and this was one of them products. I have very sensitive skin so I am a little edgy about using new products but this little gamble paid off. This serum doesn't contain fragrance unlike the Caudalie serum and I think that's definitely a positive for me (even though I didn't have a reaction to the Caudalie serum).

It applies like a gel and a little does go a long way, I apply my moisturiser a minute or so later (I'm currently using Avene moisturisers which are amazing!) and my skin feels so hydrating and comfortable. I've definitely fallen in love with this serum as it doesn't aggravate my eczema and keeps me hydrated which is the main thing that I look for in a product.

I cant praise this stuff enough, its my favourite product of the moment and although it is quite expensive at £24.99 its so so worth it if you have skin like mine.  I can see myself repurchasing this over and over!

Have you tried this serum or are you tempted to?

Mrs Organised ♥ New Nail Varnish Stand

I got my Muji storage drawers for christmas and I bloody love them! So when I found this stand on ebay (here) I had to have it, its like a match made in heaven ..
Before - Boring & Empty!

I love how organised it is! I managed to fit around 30 nail polishes in mine but I had to leave a few behind so I may have to stock up on another stand one day ...

Clinique Lid Smoothie in Born Freesia Review & Swatches

Hey Girlies!

I was actually looking to buy one of the new clinique chubby sticks for eyes when I wondered over to the clinique counter but they had totally sold out! So I settled for this little tube of antioxidant goodness instead.

I went for the color 'born freesia' which is a lilacy grey colour, its very pretty and quite subtle on the eye lids which makes it perfect for work. It applies nice and smoothly and doesnt crease which makes a nice change! It's not sticky in the slightest either which is a must for me.

I have to be honest, it doesn't last 8 hours. I'd say a good 3 or 4 before it dissappears on me, I dont have particulaly oily eyelids either they are more on the dryer side if anything.

The cooling applicator is really nice but I do use a brush to blend it out once the product is applied as the applicator does seam to just smudge it around a little.

Overall a very nice product and I have been reaching for it daily, I do still want to try the chubby sticks though!!

Have you tried these or the chubby sticks yet?

March Favies ♥ - Only a week behind, not bad!

Hey my lovelys!

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend so far, how nice is it to finally have a little bit of sunshine out and about?!  I popped to halfords earlier to treat my little car to a spring clean and new air freshener (how sad i know!) everything just seems so much better when its sunny! Enough of the pointless ramblings, I'll get on with the post!

Lush's dream cream for hand and body is my newest find and its bloody lovely, it does what it says on the tin tub and more! I've got a full review here if you fancy it but if not all I have to say is - you need to pick one of these up! Its says its for any skin type but its amazing for my dry & sensitive skin. It's the best lotion I have ever used and its not to thick or sticky for the current weather. Defo on my repurchase list!

The boots cucumber eye gel is such a baragin buy, I use this as an eyebrow gel and a sort of primer befor my mascara. It really helps to prepare your lashes and the differnce when using this amazing. If you have a spare £1 in Boots buy this and apply before your mascara - your'll love it!

Avene Tolerance Extreme cream - this is my fifth tube of this bad boy! Again, its just perfect for irritated skin. Its so hydrating and is a perfect base for makeup as it has a sort of dewy soft finish. Its non comedigenic but I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin as it is quite thick (not as thick as the avene compensating cream).

I got the Body Shop Wise Woman Eye cream on a bit of a whim, its was £22 down to £6 so I couldn't resist. I have been using this religiously every morning and I really do love it. I'm not sure if it has reduced my under eye shadows but it definitely is nice and nourishing. I definitely notice a positive difference when using this before applying my makeup.

Now that the sun has made an appearence so have my red nails! Red nail varnish is my absolute favourite to wear and this is my most favourite red ever. 'Color so hot is berns' is such a gorgeous red, its more pink toned than orange toned and ah its just perfect!!

I have tried so many concealers in the past and these are my favourite to use at the moment. I've always resisted buying the Garnier under eye roll on but finally caved in when I saw it for only a fiver! I got this in the lightest shade which is a tad too light for me but I apply it after my eye cream but before my concealer and it works really well. Its not the best coverage but its nice and cooling & the metal ball applicator is lovely on those early mornings too!

Everyone raves about the collection lasting perfection concealer but I actually prefer this one! I use this to cover my undereye circles and its brilliant. I'd say the coverage is pretty much full but a little drying (less so than the lasting perfection concealer) so I mix it with the Rimmel wake me up concealer as that is lovely and dewy. Perfect combo!

I love the Kabuki brush for setting any concealer i have applied with powder (not so much under the eyes but on any blemishes) I try not to powder my face too much most days as it does dry out my skin easily and I do like a nice glow if I can get one! I use the setting brush for everything I apply under my eyes, it's just the perfect shape and size!

Whats been your favourite product this month?
