Mini Dove Hair Haul ..

Hey Lovelys!

I popped into Tesco on Friday and I noticed that they had a little offer on all Dove products. I picked up these 3 products for around £6 - Bargain!

Dove Colour Radiance Leave-In Conditioning Spray

I haven't coloured my hair in around a year now but I loved the fact that this was a conditioning spray for use on dry (and wet) hair. I always find that the day after washing my hair is dryer and never looks as nice. I used this this morning after having curly hair last night and it's lovely to use. It really does add some well needed moisture and just makes it looks so much more healthier. It smells gorgeous too, I think I would just use it for the smell! Its meant to repair damage from within while adding a glossy shine.

Heat Defence Mist

I haven't tried this one yet as I'm still using my good ol' Tresemme spray but it says that it protects the hair up to 200 degrees. It creates a shield around the hair fibre and help protect against styling damage while at the same time leaving it smooth and shiny. Sounds good to me!

Intensive Repair Overnight creme

If I'm going to be washing my hair the next morning then i will usually smother my hair in some sort of oil before bed. I've never used an overnight cream so i was intrigued! This creme is meant to replenish 1 month’s protein loss in just 1 night. It absorbs into your hair throughout the night whilst you sleep, actively replenishing vital proteins and restoring resistance and strength. This sounds a little too good to be true but I will give it a go!

have you tried any Dove products? What did you think?

Tigi S Factor Smoothing Conditioner Review

I got this conditioner along with the smoothing shampoo and lusteriser (haul here) as part of a set. These were the first Tigi products that I had ever tried and it was also the most expensive hair products I had ever tried!
FYI - I have quite long thick hair which can get dry at the ends, I always blow dry my hair and use straighteners - naughty I know but my hair is too crazy and wild if I dont (lion king style).

'Smoothing Conditioner not only silkifies, shines and softens it strengthens your hair too, as has a scientific blend of ingredients including pro Vitamin B5, JoJoBa and Avocado Oil'

So this conditioner is now an official empty. I usually smother my hair in conditoner when I wash it and this has lasted really well considering that (a good 3 months). I use quite a big blob of this and it spreads nice and easily over my barnet and detangles on the way which is a bonus (I find that a lot of cheaper conditoners dont do this for me).
It really does make your hair so so shiney and soft and is definitely one of my favourite conditioners (along with my wella power hair mask and soap and glory glad hair day). I use this on my roots too but i do have thick hair, I'd say if you have very fine hair that it may be a little heavy but if you give it a good rinse then it should be fine.
I recommend this and i will be repurchasing this when payday finally rolls around! Although I am tempted by the Macadamia hair mask or the S Factor serious condition - any advice?

Soap & Glory Glad Hair Day Conditioner Review

Hey Girlies ,
So you may know already that I really love a hair product! I have long thick wavy hair which gets dry at the ends, especially in this cold weather and with all the festive styling going on!

This was a bit of an impulse buy really, I loved that it's specifically for thick hair but they do also do one for those of you with not so much hair if you did fancy trying it. The packaging is very cute, nice and girly! It's easy to squeeze the product out too, I prefer these squeezy tubes rather than the tubs .
The product promises to detangle, gloss & shine, smooth & strengthen - sounds good to me! Did I agree? Well, the main thing I noticed was how shiney this made my hair, like ridiculously shiney, shine I have never seen before lol! It also did a wonderful job of detangling my barnet which I find is usually quite the job! It also seems to prevent my hair from tangling up at night as its not such a mission to brush through it in the morning. It smells delicious too, really fresh and fruity and the scent seems to linger longer than any other conditioners that I have tried before (believe me when I say that I have tried a lot!) I get a nice whiff every now and then which is nice and refreshing!

The conditioner is really thick and perfect for my dry ends but I don't ever apply this to my roots as I just feel it would be too heavy and maybe make it look greasy. I think this is perfect for any of you girlies with thick/ frazzled hair like me but maybe a bit to much for normal/finer hair. I think this does leave a little residue-y layer behind but I personally don't mind that as it tames my hair a little and makes blow drying that little bit easier. It doesn't weigh my hair down at all but I guess it does act as a serum in a way.

I really do love this conditioner and it's definitely one of the best I have used. It costs £5.50 for 250ml which I think is very reasonable, even better with the 3 for 2 deals going on at the moment! I will definitely be repurchasing this once it has run out and I really do recommend it for you lovelies with hair like mine

Macadamia Hair Oil Review ♥

Macadamia Oil on Left & Tresemme Argan oil on Right

I have posted a few bad-ish reviews recently so i thought i would actually blog about something i actually love so this is what i picked up out of my goody drawer.
This is my 3rd bottle of this stuff and it smells amazing, even my boyfriend loves the smell.
It's quite a thick oil really, which i do love but i tend to put it on after i have styled my hair as i find that it can take a while to dry if i apply it before and I'm not the most patient of people :)
I also use this as an overnight mask, i slather it on before bed and tie my hair up in a bun - this works wonders for my hair and really smooths it out and hides my split ends nicely once it's washed out.
Another great thing about this is if i have my hair wavey the next day it can get a bit tangled up and this helps to detangle my beehive of a barnet the next morning!
Its quite pricey at around £20 for a 100ml pump bottle and I'd say it lasts around 3 months for me which isn't bad seeing how much i use it -maybe 3 times a week at night and as a serum after styling every other day.
I really recommend this, it's definitely one of my favourite hair care products along with the L'oreal hair mask i always mention. You can get the spray version too which isn't as heavy - this may be better if you don't want a really heavy oil.
